You will learn about TOEFL, IELTS, and other English language proficiency tests and improve your language skills before taking a test. The course focuses on test-taking skills and strategies and on language skills, such as reading and listening for main ideas, facts, and inferences; planning for writing and speaking, and delivering spoken and written responses. You will take and discuss practice tests.
This course will help you:
- strengthen your English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- understand all sections of the TOEFL, IELTS, and other English language proficiency tests.
- practice proficiency tests and learn strategies for improving your test scores. develop your vocabulary and grammar skills.
Cancellation and Refund Policies:
Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date, based on minimum enrollment. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible. You may cancel your registration up until the end of the first week of classes. After that date, no refunds will be given. Cancellations must be received via email at geo-elp@vcu.edu.
