Grammar for Effective Communication

Cost: $450
Students will develop English grammar and communication skills with extensive and varied practice that encourage growth in all areas of language use. Students will develop core grammar principles, such as verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, word order, parts of speech, and modal auxiliaries.
This course will help students: build fluency and confidence in using English grammar rules; use accurate grammatical structures in speaking and writing review; and practice English language grammatical forms and their application in different communicative contexts.
Cancellation and Refund Policies: Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date, based on minimum enrollment. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible. You may cancel your registration up until the end of the first week of classes. After that date, no refunds will be given. Cancellations must be received via email at geo-elp@vcu.edu.
